The Mumbai Indians have lost their first three IPL games, but bowling coach Shane Bond expects a turnaround from his team’s bowlers soon.
He stated that the change would force the five-time champions to bowl according to their strategy, beginning with Friday’s match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
He said, “It’s simple enough to fix.” I believe you will notice a difference if we stick to our plans and bowl accordingly.
“As I previously stated, we have had some success with our plan on a few occasions. In the previous match, we bowled well against Andre Russell.
“We were able to hold Venkatesh Iyer to a large extent,” the former New Zealand fast bowler said. “The biggest challenge for us is to bowl in the right direction under pressure, which we have failed to do so far,” Bond said.
