IPL 2022 Purple Cap Table has been updated: On the basis of his performance, Punjab Kings bowler Rahul Chahar, who took three wickets against Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2022, has come near to winning the Purple Cap. On Sunday, Chahar bowled well against Chennai, capturing three wickets for 25 runs. He has now taken six wickets in three matches this season, putting him in second place on the list of top wicket-takers.

Umesh Yadav of the Kolkata Knight Riders is still on top with eight wickets in three games and a purple cap on his head. Chahar has now issued a challenge to Umesh.
