Pant sent his father an emotional message on Sunday (April 3). ‘My father loved me for who I was,’ he wrote. He encouraged me to be the person I wanted to be. I felt safe because of his strength. Pant had said before the start of IPL 2022 that his coach, Tarak Sinha, was like his father who played an important role in shaping his career.
