Tilak Verma is an Indian politician. He is an example of a young player. He has only played two matches in the Indian Premier League 2022 so far, but he has already made a name for himself. The Mumbai Indians paid Rs 1.7 crore for the left-handed batsman in February’s auction. Verma is now living up to the trust placed in him by the team’s leadership. He scored 22 and 61 runs in his first two matches. He has a strike rate of 172.91 percent.

Verma was given a chance to play in the Under-19 World Cup 2020, but he did not take advantage of it. Despite this, his strong domestic performance earned him a spot in the IPL. When asked about the financial difficulties that his family is facing, Verma stated that his current goal is to purchase a home for his family.
“When I was growing up, our family faced financial difficulties,” he said in an interview with Cricbuzz. With his meagre salary, my father had to cover the costs of my cricket and my elder brother’s education. I’ve been able to manage my cricket expenses in recent years thanks to some sponsorship and match fees.
‘We don’t have our own house,’ Verma continued. So, no matter how much money I make from the IPL, my only goal is to buy a house for my parents. This IPL money allows me to play whenever I want for the rest of my career. Tilak also stated that when he was selected for the IPL, his family and coach were overjoyed.
‘I was doing a video call with my coach the day the IPL auction was going on,’ he added. My coach’s eyes welled up with tears as my bid was raised. I called my parents as soon as I found out I had been chosen. Following my call, they began to cry as well. My mother became so overcome with emotion that she was unable to speak.
